Jim has been central to the development of Melissi software from the beginning - building on what is now more than 30 years' experience as a computer programer. He currently leads our technical innovation and support team.

Jim also teaches creative writing at Hull University, UK, where his students benefit from his 30+ years' experience and success as a dramatist for stage and screen.

Dean has taught at all levels of education from primary to post-graduate - as well as in independent and state sectors in the UK and the USA.

Dean gained his PhD in 1999 with a thesis on film, and he regularly lectures on cinema and theatre. His recent academic work includes publications on science fiction film and cinema distribution & exhibition.
