Prices and Payment

• Please confirm the current price by checking our online price list. Note that these prices do not include V.A.T.

• We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque or cash. Goods bought on credit must be paid for within 30 days of our invoice date. We will charge you interest at 1.5% per month if you do not pay in full by this date.

• We remain owners of the goods or licence you purchase until you have paid in full.

Free training

Melissi staff will have limited time so before they arrive to train staff in the use of Melissi software:

• the Classroom software must be fully installed, tested and the checklist returned;

• the network must be connected and tested**;

• the person responsible for networking and PC administrative permissions must make any necessary permissions and passwords available or provide a member of staff with authority to do so;

• free, on-site training is only available, at present, in the British Isles (including the Irish Republic)

Campus & Home Licence renewal

• Unless the annual licence is renewed within one calendar month of the due date, Classroom software must be removed from all unlicensed campus computers and every effort made to block network access to the Melissi servers or associated web pages from home computers.

Returns

• Faulty hardware must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Please email us first. All goods must be returned in their original packaging.
  

Guarantee and Liability

• We do not accept liability for claims concerning the goods as to their quality, fitness for purpose or otherwise. Nor do we accept any liability for indirect or consequential losses or loss of profits.

Limited Software Warranty

Technical or other product support for the software is provided, free of charge, by email.
Our warranty is that the software will perform substantially in accordance with our published documentation. This warranty is valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The warranty is not applicable if failure of the software has resulted from accident, abuse or misapplication. If you notify us within the warranty period that the software does not meet this warranty, then we will, at our option and without further obligation, either (i) return the price paid, or (ii) repair or replace the software.

Restrictions

In order to run any Melissi Multimedia software you or your users must have a valid licence for each PC on which the software is run.

The right to run the software is limited as follows:

• We do not assign any copyright.

• Neither you nor your users may make copies of the software and distribute them, except by our express prior written consent.

• If the software is made up of components, neither you nor your users may separate the components by running them on different computers or by transferring them separately.
  

• Neither you nor your users may rent, lease, commercially host or lend any copy of the software.
  

• Neither you nor your users may reverse engineer, de-compile or disassemble the software.
  

• You must not install the product on a storage device, such as a network server, used to install or run the product on your other computers over an internal network, without acquiring a separate licence for each separate computer on which the product is installed.
